Called up Happy Plumbing to come drain the hot water line in the kitchen because it was running slow and learned that “Never.” is an unacceptable answer to “When was the last time you had the hot water heater drained?” on a 3.5 year old house. Ben got me squared away quickly for what felt like a reasonable price and taught me that we should be having our water heaters drained every 2 years, especially if we’re on city water.
